Dr. Joseph Latham
Dr. Joseph Latham serves as Clinical Director at Seahorse Psychology Center where he provides clinical leadership, guidance, and support to the therapy and evaluation team. He is committed to promoting compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based care for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, complex mental health concerns, social challenges, and cultural or military-related stressors.
Dr. Latham’s clinical background is rooted in helping individuals build insight, strengthen emotional regulation, improve relationships, and develop practical tools for lasting change. His approach is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma.
In his role as Clinical Director, Dr. Latham focuses on supporting high-quality clinical care across Seahorse Psychology Center by mentoring providers, strengthening treatment practices, and helping ensure clients receive thoughtful, individualized support. While he is not currently accepting new therapy clients, his leadership remains central to Seahorse Psychology Center’s mission of helping individuals and families move toward healing, resilience, and overall wellbeing.

Dr. Amanda Chavez
Amanda Chavez, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist who works with adults, adolescents, and couples facing depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem concerns, and relationship challenges. She has a special interest in couples, teens, and members of the first responder and military communities.
Dr. Chavez believes healing begins with understanding our experiences, emotions, relationships, and behavioral patterns. Her approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with humanistic principles, integrating practical skills with self-exploration and insight. She helps clients process past experiences, build healthier coping strategies, and create lasting change.
Known for her warm, supportive, and collaborative style, Dr. Chavez creates a safe environment where clients feel understood and empowered. She is passionate about helping individuals and couples strengthen relationships, cultivate self-compassion, and move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and connection.
Dr. Devon Chazan
Dr. Chazan is a licensed clinical psychologist providing comprehensive care across the lifespan, with a primary specialization in children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She earned her doctoral degree from a dually accredited program in Clinical Child and School Psychology, offering deep insight into how individuals navigate personal, social, and academic environments.
Her breadth of experience includes practice across hospital, school, and community mental health settings, which informs her approach to diagnostic assessment and evidence-based treatments like CBT and ACT. Rooted in trauma-informed care and self-compassion, her practice addresses anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, eating disorders, body image concerns, and major life transitions. She also specializes in helping individuals navigate the psychological impact of chronic illness and medical regimes.
Dr. Chazan prioritizes an authentic, non-judgmental alliance. Whether working individually to empower clients through transitions or partnering with families to support a child’s wellbeing, she provides a secure space to cultivate resilience and build a value-driven life.
Dr. Teresa Murtha
Teresa Murtha, PsyD is a Registered Psychological Associate who is dedicated to helping individuals build on their strengths, navigate life’s challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change. She is committed to providing compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based care for individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, and other emotional or psychological challenges. Her collaborative, strengths-based approach creates a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
Drawing from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, EMDR and other practical therapeutic interventions, Dr. Murtha helps clients develop effective coping skills, strengthen resilience, improve emotional regulation, and build greater confidence and overall wellbeing. She believes that every individual’s experiences and goals are unique and works alongside clients to create personalized treatment plans that foster lasting growth, healthier patterns of thinking, and the tools needed to overcome challenges and thrive.
Dr. Christina Amiot
Dr. Christina Amiot, Psy.D., is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in comprehensive psychological evaluations and evidence-based psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families. She works with individuals experiencing ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning differences, anxiety, mood disorders, and a broad range of cognitive, behavioral, developmental, and emotional concerns. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized, with a focus on helping clients and families gain a deeper understanding of their unique strengths and challenges.
Dr. Amiot’s evaluation approach is comprehensive and individualized, with each assessment tailored to address the unique needs of the individual. Her evaluations are designed to provide diagnostic clarity while offering practical recommendations that direct treatment planning, support school and workplace accommodations, and inform medication management where indicated. She is committed to delivering a thorough assessment process that provides meaningful answers and clear guidance for clients, families, and referring providers.
Her therapeutic approach emphasizes genuine connection, collaboration, and evidence-based care. She has advanced training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and exposure-based interventions, allowing her to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. She works alongside clients and families to develop practical coping strategies, strengthen emotional resilience, and address the underlying factors contributing to their concerns. Whether through psychological evaluation or psychotherapy, Dr. Amiot is dedicated to helping individuals and families gain the insight, clarity, and tools needed to create meaningful, lasting change.
Kathryn "Katie" Turner
Katie Turner is an Associate Clinical Counselor who works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and difficulties with emotional regulation. She is committed to creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Katie believes healing is fostered through genuine connection, honest conversations, and practical, evidence-based strategies tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Her integrative approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Transactional Analysis, and Narrative Therapy. She works collaboratively with clients to strengthen emotional awareness, improve relationships, build resilience, and develop effective coping skills that support long-term growth and well-being.
Known for her compassionate, straightforward, and client-centered style, Katie values meeting clients where they are while helping them build insight, foster self-compassion, and move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.
Dr. Christopher Kim
Dr. Kim is a Registered Psychological Associate who provides psychotherapy and comprehensive psychological testing services. He conducts evaluations to assess cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and personality functioning, as well as provide diagnostic clarification across a wide range of psychological conditions. His areas of specialization include assessments for autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual developmental disorder (IDD), learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia), mild and major neurocognitive disorders, including mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and dementia, mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral and personality-related concerns.
Dr. Kim takes a collaborative and individualized approach to therapy and testing, helping clients gain a deeper understanding of their strengths, challenges, and treatment needs. He strives to provide a supportive environment where clients can build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change.
Corey Cabulagan
Corey’s approach to treatment is straightforward and collaborative. He believes in meeting each person where they are, taking the time to understand their unique circumstances, and developing a personalized treatment plan that reflects their individual needs and goals.
His ability to connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds is shaped by his own diverse cultural, social, educational, and professional experiences. Corey understands the discipline and pressure of being a student-athlete, having played football while pursuing his education. He currently serves as a medical officer in the United States Army Medical Department and brings the values of service, teamwork, and commitment into his clinical work.
Corey completed his advanced education through a nationally ranked psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner graduate program. His experiences have given him a strong appreciation for perseverance, personal growth, and the different paths people may take in reaching their goals.
With more than a decade of experience in psychiatric mental health and substance use treatment, Corey has worked across multiple levels of care, including crisis stabilization, inpatient hospitalization, residential treatment, and outpatient services. This broad clinical background allows him to support individuals experiencing both short-term life challenges and ongoing mental health concerns.
Corey is compassionate, approachable, and committed to providing competent, evidence-based care. For individuals who may benefit from a combination of medication management and psychotherapy, he works collaboratively with each client to develop a thoughtful and comprehensive treatment plan. Corey considers it an honor to support his clients and serve as a trusted member of their treatment team.
Dr. Nicole Doss
Dr. Nicole Doss is a psychological associate specializing in psychological and neuropsychological assessment, with expertise in autism, ADHD, giftedness, twice-exceptionality (2e), and executive functioning. She earned her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from Alliant International University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Irvine, where she graduated Cum Laude.
Dr. Doss approaches each assessment with care, collaboration, and close attention to each client’s individual needs. Her goal is to help clients and families gain a clearer understanding of how someone thinks, learns, processes information, manages attention, and navigates daily life. She is especially passionate about working with complex presentations in which giftedness, neurodivergence, attention differences, and executive functioning challenges may intersect.
With more than 20 years of clinical leadership experience, Dr. Doss brings a broad understanding of emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns to the assessment process.
As the parent of a neurodivergent child with a PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) profile, Dr. Doss also brings a personal understanding of the questions and concerns families may experience when seeking answers. She is committed to providing assessments that are comprehensive, practical, and genuinely useful, with clear recommendations that help clients and families better understand their needs and identify meaningful next steps.
